As if having two jobs and working seven days a week wasn't enough...

Now I've decided to start a blog. Yep, I know. What am I thinking!?! Well, thanks for asking. It seemed like a good idea at the time :-) I figured it'd be a good place to have all the things I love in one place. For instance if I just read a good book I could talk about it here along with other people-or maybe just talk to myself. Ya know, tell myself what a great book it was and how I should tell some friends. Or, what if I found a fantastic Gluten-free product or cookbook!?! I couldn't keep it to myself, now could I? Nope, I'd want to share it. That's where the blog comes in. See how it all ties together :-)

So, here I sit with Pandora wafting through the air, eating Beanitos Black Bean chips (which are really, really good, by the way AND gluten-free AND make me say, SWEET MONKEYS! These are delicious!) and trying to start this blog on a cold, overcast afternoon when I really should be making some veggie soup and gluten-free rolls.
Can I just say that Pandora just downright confuses me sometimes. Oh, I get the whole check if you like or don't like part of it, but sometimes the choices of songs are so, well, random. I said I liked Jennifer Lopez-hey, don't judge, you get a lot of great dance music that will provide a great distraction from what you're supposed to be doing. Anyhoo, I created a Jennifer Lopez station and what do I end getting? A station that plays ONE JL song every hour and a half and a whole bunch of rap! Really?!?! I know Pandora can't see me, but I really don't look like someone who'd enjoy rap e-v-e-r. I am loving all the Latin music that's coming on, though. I will drop what I'm doing and dance Salsa in the middle of the living room for a Juanes song, "Camisa Negra". Great dance song!

Little by little I'll load the site with things that make me say, "Sweet Monkeys! That's fabUlous!".

Stay tuned...
